Hi, My name is Kimberley, welcome to my website, Face By Kimberley 'aka' FBK!

A little background on me... Someone I looked up to once said ‘makeup artistry’ was not a real job...  So I started my career in admin... yay. NOT for me! I knew I wanted to be a makeup artist from a very young age. I was very artistic and loved being creative. So when I was 18 I decided to take a makeup course on the side of my full time job and fell in love.  I then quit my admin job.....

My makeup career started working for Bobbi Brown Cosmetics in 2009.  This kick started my love for achieving natural and beautiful skin and makeup and ultimately sculpted my whole future career.  

​

Since then, I completed further training in makeup, hair styling and special FX. In 2016 I studied Fashion and Editorial hair and makeup at the outstanding 'academy of freelance makeup' known as 'AOFM' based in Soho, London.  Early 2018 I graduated in special FX makeup with the amazing Stuart Bray at creative media skills based at Pinewood Studios.

I work as a professional freelance makeup artist and have been lucky enough to be involved in various creative projects.  I have experienced London fashion week, both men and women's, TV, working on the ITV show 'This Morning' and advertising/commercials.

​

However my passion will always remain with Bridal Makeup! I have a huge love for Bridal and Beauty makeup.  There is something about the fuss and buzz on a wedding morning that just makes me thrive in the moment.  The look on a Bride's face when they see their makeup for the first time is the most amazing reward, along with the reaction of all their friends and family!

​

I am also fully qualified in Semi Permanent Makeup of the highest level and offer a range of beauty treatments within my lovely home salon, in Oulton Broad, Suffolk. Please see the treatment and price list page for further details and how to book.
